East Window

I am Leila. I work regular weekday hours and come home to a flat that faces other flats, which means privacy is a negotiated art.
Bloom Pages began as a folder of paragraphs I did not want to lose — market mornings, park connector wind, the way Ang Mo Kio light changes before a storm. I publish them because writing for one reader still counts as writing.
I am not a journalist, therapist, lawyer, or financial adviser. If you need any of those, please consult someone qualified. If you want a neighbourly account of central-north evenings, you are in the right place.
I reply to email when I can, usually mid-morning after the market run. Be patient; this site has no staff.
The portrait was taken by a friend who insisted on natural light and no filters. I look more tired than heroic, which is accurate.
I have lived in this block long enough to know which neighbours hang laundry before seven and which after nine.
Bloom Pages will never run ads. If that changes, assume someone else is driving — it will not be me.
I teach nothing here except how one person notices central-north evenings without turning them into lessons.
